    Sammanfattning : Students wishing to attend student events, as well as the event organisers, currentlyface several inconveniences at the sign-up occasion, due to prevailing solutions’ lack ofdeep consideration for efficiency. This report investigates how a web-based sign-up appli-cation for student events can be implemented to handle high server traffic, by developingand testing a solution that allows for a quick sign-up process, payment directly at the sign-up occasion and the gathering of relevant attendee information.
