  1. 1. Securitized or Not Securitized? : A Case Study of Sweden's COVID-19 Strategy During the First Year of the Pandemic

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

    Författare :Max Anklev; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Securitization Theory; De securitization; Non-securitization; COVID-19; Sweden;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis analyzes Sweden's unique and puzzling approach to the COVID-19 pandemic by using the securitization framework, exploring if Sweden's strategy during the pandemic's first year reflects securitization, (de)securitization, or non-securitization. It employs content analysis to evaluate Sweden's response, analyzing primary sources and academic literature, and uses a discourse table based on existing theoretical studies by Barry Buzan, Ole Waever, and Jaap de Wilde (1998) and Lene Hansen (2012) to assess indicators of securitization, (de)securitization or non-securitization. 2. 2. AI-based image generation: The impact of fine-tuning on fake image detection

    Kandidat-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för data- och systemvetenskap

    Författare :Nick Hagström; Anders Rydberg; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Fake image detection; LoRA; DreamBooth; Stable Diffusion; Image generation;

    Sammanfattning : Machine learning-based image generation models such as Stable Diffusion are now capable of generating synthetic images that are difficult to distinguish from real images, which gives rise to a number of legal and ethical concerns. As a potential measure of mitigation, it is possible to train neural networks to detect the digital artifacts present in the images synthesized by many generative models. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Managing Innovation in Knowledge-Intensive SMEs: A Multiple Case Study of Balancing Exploration and Exploitation

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Anders Persson; Filip Mannefred; [2023-07-20]
    Nyckelord :Ambidexterity; Innovation management; Innovation Strategy; Innovation Processes; Knowledge-Intensive firms; SMEs;

    Sammanfattning : Managing the innovation processes and strategies is a common challenge for companies due to the complexity and difficulties of creating processes that favor exploitation and exploration, and not limiting the capabilities to one or the other. Being able to have a split focus and balancing these capabilities constitutes a paradox since stability and predictability are associated with exploitation, and since risk and unpredictability are associated with exploration. 5. 5. Faktorer som skapar bristande följsamhet till basal hygien : Sjuksköterskans upplevelse

    Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för hälsovetenskaper

    Författare :Emma Forss; Anders Palmblom; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Care hygiene; basic hygiene; compliance; nurse; behavioral factors; Vårdhygien; basal hygien; följsamhet; sjuksköterskor; beteendefaktorer;

    Sammanfattning : Introduktion: Trots att det finns evidens för de hygienrutiner som praktiseras på svenska sjukhus brister det i följsamhet till dessa rutiner. Detta leder bland annat till höga kostnader, lidande hos patienter och är en bidragande orsak till utveckling och utbredning av mikroorganismer med antibiotikaresistens. LÄS MER
