1. RICHARD BERGHS KONSTNÄRSFÖRBUNDETS STYRELSE en fallstudie om bindemedlets påverkan på sprickbildningens morfologi
Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för kulturvårdSammanfattning : Many painters experimented with disparate materials and techniques at the turn of the century 1900. As a result, paintings originating from this time period are often prone to undesired degradation phenomena resulting from an inherent vice. LÄS MER
2. Fracture simulation with a hyperelastic phase field model
Master-uppsats, KTH/HållfasthetsläraSammanfattning : The phase field method is a versatile tool to study crack initiation and propagation in systems with complex geometries. Based on a variational formulation of the equilibrium equations, the sharp crack topology is regularized by a crack with diffusive edges and the damage is described by a continuous phase field variable. 3. Life extension of welded steel details in bridges
Master-uppsats, KTH/Lättkonstruktioner, marina system, flyg- och rymdteknik, rörelsemekanikSammanfattning : High-Frequency Mechanical Impacts (HFMI) is a surface treatment technique utilized to introduce residual stresses and extend the service life of structures. This project primarily focuses on studying the life extension effects of HFMI on welded structures that have undergone fatigue and have existing cracks. LÄS MER
4. Effect of dwell (hold) time on high temperature fatigue crack growth of AM components
Master-uppsats, KTH/Lättkonstruktioner, marina system, flyg- och rymdteknik, rörelsemekanikSammanfattning : GKN Aerospace AB, Sweden (GAS) is one of the leading companies taking up the charge in manufacturing components using Additive Manufacturing(ed) (AM) techniques in the aerospace sector. They are a hub of engineering and they are a supplier of engine and engine components to the world’s leading aero-engine manufacturers, and airframes to civil and military aircraft manufacturers. 5. Micro-CT based finite element models for mechanical strength assessment of glass ceramic scaffolds obtained through the robocasting technique
Master-uppsats, KTH/HållfasthetsläraSammanfattning : In this thesis, micro computed tomography (μ−CT) scans of a bio-glass scaffold produced by the robocasting technique was used to create finite element method (FEM) models with the purpose of determining its mechanical strength. Prior to this, a Matlab script was used to create several simplified geometries of the scaffold in an effort to determine the importance of scaffold design parameters (such as the fiber compenetration between two adjacent printing planes) on the strength of the scaffold.
