    Sammanfattning : Building a bridge between the quantative and qualitative research fields on public opinion on the European Union I develop a typology of EU-attitudes based on theories of how party positions on the EU are structured. The typology applies to public opinion and is built on a two dimensional theoretical model where one dimension represent the opinion on the current membership in the European Union and the other dimension represents the opinion on European integration.     Sammanfattning :   Euro barometer surveys show quite an astonishing change in Turkish opinion towards European Union. In 2004, 73 % of the population considered EU as a good thing. In 2008, only 49 % were of the same opinion. At the same time, skepticism towards European integration is explained differently in earlier research. LÄS MER
