   Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to examine whether two prominent publishing houses, which create teaching material for the course English 5, have preconceived ideas and assumptions regarding pupils within vocational programs or programs that prepare students for further studies.    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this qualitative study is to compare five teachers’ beliefs about their students’ learning of vocabulary and compare that with current theories and recommended practices in the field.
