    Sammanfattning : Syftet med studien är att belysa uppfattningar hos tränare/ledare för kvinnliga idrottare om menstruationscykeln (MC) och periodiserad träning (PDT) i svenska föreningar och klubbar. Frågeställning 1: Vilken upplevd kännedom har tränare/ledare kring MC, PDT samt de aktivas kännedom? Frågeställning 2: Hur uppfattar tränare/ledare kommunikationen gällande MC samt PDT med deras aktiva? Frågeställning 3: Finns det eventuella skillnader i förutsättningarför att arbeta utifrån MC och PDT?  Vald metod för datainsamling var kvalitativ intervju genomförd som panelintervju med en semistrukturerad intervjuguide.
