   Sammanfattning : According to the European Convention on Human Rights, jurisdiction is a prerequisite for holding a contracting state responsible when an allegation of infringement of the ECHR arises, such as the principle of non-refoulement. States implement extraterritorial migration management measures trying to avoid triggering the principle of non-refoulement arguing that it cannot be applied extraterritorially. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to examine, through a comparative study with the original text, some of the translation choices made during the linguistic and cultural recoding process for the Italian readers of the Guta saga, one of the first historical and literary works of medieval Sweden, written in ancient Gutnic. The contrastive study of some passages of the original text of the Guta saga and of the Italian translation follows the method of critical analysis of literary translation developed by the French theorist Antoine Berman. It also explores Italy's educational and ideological agenda during this period and the role of children's literature as a pedagogical contribution towards the formation of a new Italian nation after 1861.
