  1. 1. KINESISKA DIREKTINVESTERINGAR

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

    Författare :David Pihl; [2023-02-07]
    Nyckelord :Kinesiska direktinvesteringar; energisäkerhet; kommersiella och politiska motiv Chinese direct investments; energy security; commercial and political motives.;

    Sammanfattning : By reducing fossil fuel reliance and introducing renewable energy the EU could decrease their dependence of external energy suppliers and strengthen their member states’ energy security. However, increasing Chinese direct investments into the EU’s energy sector has caught academic and political attention, partly because the investments can entail new problems regarding member states’ energy security. 2. 2. Small scale VTOL aircraft using only one lift-producing motor : A study of lift capacity for a Vertical Take-Off and Landing capable aircraft

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Daniel Milenkovic; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Aircraft; VTOL; EDF; Mechatronics; Ardupilot; Luftfarkost; VTOL; EDF; Mekatronik; Ardupilot;

    Sammanfattning : The usage of unmanned aerial vehicles in applications such as terrain mapping and surveillance is proliferating in the modern world. This project aims to investigate the feasibility, in terms of payload capacity and stability, of small scale winged aircraft that have the ability to lift and land vertically, while also being able to transition to normal forward flight using wings for primary lift. 3. 3. Investigation of Antenna Radomes in Low Earth Orbits

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntes

    Författare :Mathias Manohar Gren; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Materials; Science; Space; Satellites; Antenna Radomes; Beyond Gravity; Coatings; Physics; Chemistry; Low Earth Orbits; Engineering; Lunds University; Materials Chemistry; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Introduction: This master’s thesis focuses on exploring improved alternative material solutions for antenna radomes used to protect Beyond Gravity Sweden’s satellite antennas in low Earth orbits. Background: As the environment in low Earth orbit is harsh, surface materials on satellites experience high levels of atomic oxygen, ultra violet radiation, thermal-fluctuation, charged particles and micro meteoroids. 4. 4. Closing Doors or Building Bridges : Organizations as Gatekeepers of Volunteering for Asylum Seekers in Wallonia

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Avdelningen för migration, etnicitet och samhälle (REMESO)

    Författare :Damaris Deba; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Asylum seekers; volunteering; organizations; Belgium; inclusion; exclusion; obstacles;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims at exploring the role of organizations in asylum seekers' access to volunteering in Wallonia, Belgium. In Belgium, volunteering has been allowed for asylum seekers since 2014. Studies made after 2014 in Wallonia have shown that volunteering can benefit asylum seekers. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Preliminary Design of a 30 kN Methane-Oxygen-powered Electric-Pump-fed Liquid Rocket Propulsion System

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Rymdteknik

    Författare :Vikramjeet Das; [2023]
    Nyckelord :rocket engine; liquid rocket; methalox; electropump; LRPS; LPRE; liquid methane; electric pump feed system;

    Sammanfattning : The design of a liquid rocket propulsion system, unlike that of a standalone system, is intertwined with the overall development of a number of associated systems and is influenced by a multitude of conditions and considerations: from the requirements needed to accomplish the mission to the rationalizations involved behind the development of each rocket system and/or component. In my thesis, the preliminary design of a “new generation” 30 kN rocket engine driven by an electric pump feed system and running on liquid methane and liquid oxygen is performed. LÄS MER
