   Sammanfattning : ABSTRACT Purpose: The aim of the study is to provide a summary map of how a manufacturing company works with Lean tools to eliminate waste and create improvements. Initially the research questions were formulated, to which the study intends to answer and also goes in line with the purpose: How can companies in the manufacturing industry use Lean tools to work with improvements? How can Lean tools such as, elimination of 7+1 wastes and work with 5S contribute to improvements? Methodology and implementation: A case study has been carried out on a large company in the manufacturing industry, and to relate to what the literature says, also a comprehensive literature study on Lean methodology has been conducted.
