  1. 1. Pre-study for SMR and Nuclear Establishment in Norway

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaper

    Författare :Johan Stefan Nordström; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Energy mapping; Nuclear power; SMR; small modular reactors; siting; Norway; Energy; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Norway has Europe’s highest share of renewable electricity production and the lowest power sector emissions. Thanks to the country’s stable power production, Norway has affordable and stable access to electricity, leading to industries choosing to relocate to the country. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Determination of a hydropower "go-to area" : Klarälven and Dalälven potential assessment and environmental regulation constraints

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Paula Aparicio Garcia; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Hydropower; REPowerEU; Go-to areas; GIS; MCDA; AHP; RED II; WFD; Nature 2000; Vattenkraft; REPowerEU-Planen; Go-to area; GIS; MCDA; AHP RED II; WFD; Nature 2000;

    Sammanfattning : The current energy crisis with sky-rocketed prices has created the need for new sustainable solutions in the energy production sector. The REPowerEU Plan, presented by the European Commission, has taken up on this and has established measures to accelerate the introduction of new renewable energy capacity in Europe, such as the designation of “go-to areas” by Member States to shorten authorization permits in areas with high potential and low environmental impacts. 3. 3. Control of an Over-Actuated Vehicle for Autonomous Driving and Energy Optimization : Development of a cascade controller to solve the control allocation problem in real-time on an autonomous driving vehicle

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Gianmarco Grandi; [2023]
    Nyckelord :LTV-MPC Linear Time-Varying Model Predictive Controller ; Trajectory following; Energy consumption; Vehicle stability; Vehicle model; Real-time performance; LTV-MPC Controllo a predizione del modello lineare tempo variabile ; Inseguimento di traiettoria; Consumo energetico; Stabilità del veicolo; Modello del veicolo; Prestazioni in tempo reale; LTV-MPC Linjär tidsvariabel modellförutsägande styrning ; spårföljning; energiförbrukning; fordonsstabilitet; fordonsmodell; prestanda i realtid;

    Sammanfattning : An Over-Actuated (OA) vehicle is a system that presents more control variables than degrees of freedom. Therefore, more than one configuration of the control input can drive the system to a desired state in the state space, and this redundancy can be exploited to fulfill other tasks or solve further problems. 4. 4. Energy renovation packages for the decarbonisation of Swedish multifamily buildings

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljö; Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Energi och byggnadsdesign

    Författare :Bhavik Daya; Hugh Nolan; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Decarbonisation; Renovation; Multi-family homes; Life Cycle Assessment; Life Cycle Costing; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Sweden and Europe aim to be carbon neutral by 2045 and 2050 respectively. Upgrading the existing building stock has been identified as having great potential in assisting to realise these goals. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Access Point Selection and Clustering Methods with Minimal Switching for Green Cell-Free Massive MIMO Networks

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Qinglong He; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Cell-free massive MIMO; multi-objective optimization; deep reinforcement learning; AP switch ON OFF; energy efficiency; Cellfri massiv MIMO; multiobjektiv optimering; djup förstärkningsinlärning; AP switch ON OFF; energieffektivitet;

    Sammanfattning : As a novel beyond fifth-generation (5G) concept, cell-free massive MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) recently has become a promising physical-layer technology where an enormous number of distributed access points (APs), coordinated by a central processing unit (CPU), cooperate to coherently serve a large number of user equipments (UEs) in the same time/frequency resource. However, denser AP deployment in cell-free networks as well as an exponentially growing number of mobile UEs lead to higher power consumption. LÄS MER
