  1. 1. An Empirical Survey of Bandits in an Industrial Recommender System Setting

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Tobias Schwarz; Johan Brandby; [2023-09-21]
    Nyckelord :computer science; industrial application; machine learning; reinforcement learning; multi-armed bandits; MAB; contextual multi-armed bandits; survey; batch learning;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, the effects of incorporating unstructured data—images in the wild—in contextual multi-armed bandits are investigated, when used within a recommender system setting, which focuses on picture-based content suggestion. The idea is to employ image features, extracted by a pre-trained convolutional neural network, and study the resulting bandit behaviors when including respective excluding this information in the typical context creation, which normally relies on structured data sources—such as metadata. 2. 2. Deep Learning Based Sentiment Analysis

    Master-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Shashank Kalluri; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Sentiment Analysis; Word Embedding; Deep Learning;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Text data includes things like customer reviews and complaints,tweets from social media platforms. When analyzing text-based data, the SentimentModel is used. Understanding news headlines, blogs, the stock market, politicaldebates, and film reviews some of the areas where sentiment analysis is used. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Analyzing Toxicity in YouTube Comments with the Help of Machine Learning

    Kandidat-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för data- och systemvetenskap

    Författare :Sasan Dehkhoda; Jasmyn Ali Gunica; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Toxic comments; YouTube; Machine Learning; Natural Language Processing;

    Sammanfattning : Toxic comments are overall likely to make someone feel uncomfortable and leave a discussion and are therefore potentially problematic. Toxic comments occur online on various social media, and depending on the site, get detected manually or via machine learning algorithms (or both), and removed depending on the severity and other factors. 4. 4. Ärendehantering genom maskininlärning

    Kandidat-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknik

    Författare :Daniel Bennheden; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Artificial Intelligence; machine learning; case management; RPA; Random forest; Naïve Bayes; support vector machine; neural network; Artificiell Intelligens; maskinlärning; ärendehantering; RPA; Random forest; Naïve Bayes; support vector machine; neurala nätverk.;

    Sammanfattning : Det här examensarbetet undersöker hur artificiell intelligens kan användas för att automatisktkategorisera felanmälan som behandlas i ett ärendehanteringssystem genom att användamaskininlärning och tekniker som text mining. Studien utgår från Design Science ResearchMethodology och Peffers sex steg för designmetodologi som utöver design även berör kravställningoch utvärdering av funktion. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Biodiversity Monitoring Using Machine Learning for Animal Detection and Tracking

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Qian Zhou; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Small Target Detection; Target Tracking; YOLOv5; DeepSORT; Attention Mechanism; Loss Function; Feature Extraction and Fusion Network; Detektering Av små sål; sålspårning; YOLOv5; DeepSORT; uppmärksamhetsmekanism; förlustfunktion; fusionsnätverk;

    Sammanfattning : As an important indicator of biodiversity and ecological environment in a region, the number and distribution of animals has been given more and more attention by agencies such as nature reserves, wetland parks, and animal protection supervision departments. To protect biodiversity, we need to be able to detect and track the movement of animals to understand which animals are visiting the space. LÄS MER
