   Sammanfattning : This study seeks to bring understanding in how teachers in civics, in the context of the Swedish secondary school curriculum, handled and what strategies they employed in relation to teaching, assessment and legal certainty during the covid-19 pandemic when lessons and education was conducted while pupils’ and teachers where separated both in space and time. The theoretical perspectives are primarily that of frame factors and process variables and theory of assessment which seeks to explain how the teachers changed their didactics and came to terms with fruitful teaching under a new set of conditions.
