    Sammanfattning : In this paper we examine the connection between gender and confidence level, studying the estimation of one's own abilities as well as placement in respect to others. We test whether the previously studied overconfidence of males also corresponds to a higher, simultaneous degree of underconfidence, as estimation and placement are negatively correlated depending on task difficulty.
