1. A Petrographic and Paragenetic Characterization of the Ertelien Ni-Cu Deposit (Norway)
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The escalating demand for metals driven by advancements in renewable energy technologies and hightech products has underscored the significance of understanding and characterizing ore deposits. This study focuses on the Ertelien Ni-Cu deposit in Norway, a region rich in nickel, cobalt, and copper resources—essential components for the transition to a sustainable energy future. LÄS MER
2. Character and Evolution of Ore Mineralisation in the Te-Rich Enåsen Au-Cu Deposit, Central Sweden
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The Enåsen gold deposit is located in Gävleborg county in central Sweden. Mining operations at Enåsen took place from 1984 to 1991 with Au as the main target for exploitation. The deposit has been interpreted as a metamorphosed Palaeoproterozoic analogue to near-recent epithermal Au mineralisations of a high sulphidation type. LÄS MER
3. Potential Use of Oxygen Depleted Air In Nickel Sulphide Flotation
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Mineralteknik och metallurgiSammanfattning : Copper-nickel low grade ore deposits normally have complex mineralogy and process behaviour. Implementing an optimum process that is able to recover all the valuable minerals efficiently is challenging. One concentration strategy in mineral processing of copper-nickel sulphide ores is stage-wise flotation. LÄS MER
4. Leaching of Pyrrhotite from Nickel Concentrate
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Industriell miljö- och processteknikSammanfattning : Non-oxidative acid leaching of pyrrhotite from Kevitsa’s Ni-concentrate and methods to recover by-products, have been investigated. Selective dissolution of pyrrhotite (Fe1-xS, 0<x<0.25) can enrich the content of the valuable metals, such as Ni and Co, in the final concentrate and will reduce the amount of Fe and S sent to the smelters. 5. Defining The Geochemical Footprint For Gold Mineralisation Around Birthday Reef.Reefton Goldfield, New Zealand
Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för geologiska vetenskaperSammanfattning : Abstract Orogenic gold deposits from the Reefton goldfield in New Zealand hosted in Ordovician metasediments of the Greenland group have produce 67 tons of gold before 1951. The Blackwater mine in Waiuta account for about 1/3 of the gold production at Reefton prior 1951. LÄS MER
