    Sammanfattning : This thesis is a field study which was conducted for 10 weeks in the regional capital city of Casamance named Ziguinchor in Senegal. By using tools from feminist critical theory and methodology such as participatory observations and feminist in-depth interviews with women organisations in Ziguinchor, the purpose of the thesis is to understand how gender roles affect women and women organisations strive for peace.     Sammanfattning : Denna uppsats är av en kvalitativ karaktär som analyserar och beskriver hur den kvinnliga representationen i Rwanda har gått från en minoritet till en majoritet i parlamentet samt hur detta fenomen påverkat kvinnorna i det Rwandiska samhället efter inbördeskriget och folkmordets slut 1994 och framåt. Detta har analyserats med hjälp av ett feministiskt perspektiv där vi analyserar nivåer av representation, kvinnans roll i nationsbyggandet samt Närvarons politik. LÄS MER
