Distant compact objects, such as pulsars, that are to small on the sky to be analysed with imaging can be investigated by analysing the polarisation of the emitted light.     Sammanfattning : Four model solid state compounds were used to experimentally investigate the effects of pressure on the interactions in one- and two-dimensional Heisenberg magnetic models.
