    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines, via a method of discourse analysis, the allosemitic discourse and the conceptual ‘Jew’ in the Swedish press during hree separate five-year periods: 1813–1817, 1824–1828, and 1836–1840. The study focuses on the press from three Swedish cities where Jews could settle according to Judereglementet (the ‘Jew regulation’) from 1782: Göteborg, Norrköping and Stockholm. LÄS MER

Through a critical discourse analytical approach, this thesis examines bibliotherapy in relation to a Swedish library context by analyzing Swedish articles from daily and monthly press, and relating the discourses identified in them to Zygmunt Bauman’s theory of late modernity.
