    Sammanfattning : This study aimed to deepen and refine the understanding of the responsibility burden that children may need to navigate in a family where a parent is grappling with alcohol abuse. Our research questions included “How is the responsibility that a child may need to assume for a parent with alcohol abuse portrayed in the autobiographies of adult children?” and “How is the responsibility one may need to take for oneself and siblings portrayed in these autobiographies?”.
