  1. 1. Assessment of Climate Change Impact on Rainfed Barley Production in the Mediterranean Basin : The Almeria province case study

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Francesco Saretto; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Barley; Rainfed; Climate Change; AquaCrop; AquaCrop-OSPy; Mediterranean; Climate Change Adaptation; Crop Modeling; Agriculture; Irrigation;

    Sammanfattning : The Mediterranean basin is widely recognized as a climate change hotspot, with climate models projecting increasingly warmer and drier conditions that will impact local ecosystems, communities, and economies. Agriculture will be among the most affected sectors, with harsher conditions for crops’ growth, greater water needs, and lower yields. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Quantification of Pharmaceuticals at the sub-cellular level using the NanoSIMS

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Analytisk kemi

    Nyckelord :Mass spectroscopy imaging; AstraZeneca; Nanosims; Therapeutics; pharmacokinetics; pharmacodynamics; Quantitative Visualization; calibration curve; RSF; pharmacology; Data Analysis; Chemistry; Quantification; isotopes; Pharmaceuticals; subcellular; drug; drug target; nucleotide; biodistribution; Bioanalytical electrochemistry; spectroscopy; mass spectrometry; analytical separations; Analytical Chemistry; ROI; Bioanalytical Chemistry; Masspektroskopi avbildning; AstraZeneca; Nanosims; Terapeutik; farmakokinetik; farmakodynamik; Kvantitativ visualisering; kalibreringskurva; RSF; farmakologi; Dataanalys; Kemi; Kvantifiering; isotoper; Läkemedel; subcellulär; läkemedel; läkemedelsmål; bioskopisk elektrofördelning; nukleotid; bioskopisk bioskopisk distribution; masspektrometri; analytiska separationer; analytisk kemi; bioanalytisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Mass spectroscopy imaging (MSI) has become a vital tool in modern research due to its ability to visualize the spatial distribution of molecules within tissue samples. The collaboration between researchers at AZ, the University of Gothenburg, and Chalmers University of Technology using the NanoSIMS instrument and MSI-SIMS technology has opened up new avenues of exploration in pharmaceutical development, particularly in examining drugs and metabolites at sub-cellular levels. 3. 3. Analysis of fatty acids in fatty acid-based herbicides by gas chromatography

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiska institutionen

    Författare :Mohamad Abd Elwadood; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Analytical Chemistry; Fatty Acids; Gas Chromatography; Green Herbicides; Retention Index; Flame Ionization Detector; Mass Spectrometry; Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Extraction.; Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Fatty acids-based herbicides are considered to be a green alternative to synthesized weed control products. However, the environmentally sustainable effect of those herbicides needs more investigation to be confirmed. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Investigation of current sensing techniques for a high bandwidth application : Focusing on Hall-Current Sensing

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Enric Ametller; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Current sensing; High bandwidth; Inverter; Hall-sensors; Strömavkänning; Hög bandbredd; Inverter; Hall-sensorer;

    Sammanfattning : With the ongoing surge in electrification within the automotive industry, the demand for high-power inverters is steadily on the rise. Furthermore, these inverters are now expected to handle increased power loads while maintaining enhanced efficiency. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Learning features for extrinsic camera calibration of wide-angle cameras

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för systemteknik

    Författare :Albin Holmkvist; Max Björkander; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Computer vision; camera calibration; machine learning; artificial intelligence; wireframes;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis attempts to solve the problem of estimating the extrinsic camera parameters (pitch and roll) from a wide-angle view image. The first contributionis a data generation pipeline capable of producing wide-angle distorted images with rotation and line segment annotations. LÄS MER
