    Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för kultur- och medievetenskaper

    Författare :Filippa Hanna; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Eden Finley; Saxon James; gender; gender norms; romance; romance genre; queer; queer romance; masculinity; jock culture; homophobia; Eden Finley; Saxon James; genus; kön; könsnormer; romance; romance genre; queer; queer romance; maskulinitet; sportkultur; homofobi;

  2. 2. Transverse Momentum Spectra in pp collisions (\sqrt{s}\) = 7 TeV and \(\sqrt{s}\) = 13 TeV in ALICE

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Partikel- och kärnfysik

    Författare :Andreas Stokkeland; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Multiplicity; Multiplicity classes; Soft interactions; Quark Gluon Plasma; QGP; transverse momentum; p_T; Chi-squared; fits; fit functions; Levy; Lévy; Exponential; BGBW; Boltzmann-Gibbs blast-wave; Fermi-Dirac; Bose-Einstein; Boltzmann; pion; kaon; proton; transverse momentum spectra; p_T spectra; surface velocity; Minimum Bias; MB; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : In this project particle production as a function of transverse momentum (\(p_{\rm T}\)) in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy (\(\sqrt{s}\)) of 7 TeV and 13 TeV has been studied. The transverse momentum is interesting to study since it reflects momentum created in the collision (before the collision, all momentum is in the beam - going in a longitudinal direction) and therefore gives information on the collision dynamics. 3. 3. Kontinuerlig rötning med hydrokol för högre biogasutbyte

    Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Fakulteten för hälsa, natur- och teknikvetenskap (from 2013)

    Författare :Annette Kariis; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Biogas; Continuous anaerobic digestion; Hydrochar; Hydrothermal Carbonisation; Life-cycle costing; Biogas; kontinuerlig anaerob rötning; Hydrokol; Hydrotermisk karbonisering; Livscykelkostnad;

    Sammanfattning : Befolkningsökningen och därmed efterfrågan på energikällor som tillhandahålls från fossila bränslen leder till allvarliga miljöproblem på grund av utsläpp av växthusgaser. En annan utmaning är att effektivt hantera organisk avfall som till exempel matavfall som genereras världen över. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Teaching Coming Out Stories through Young Adult Literature in Upper Secondary School : Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe

    Kandidat-uppsats, Södertörns högskola/Engelska

    Författare :Jennifer Maraoge; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Queer; Anti-Oppressive Education; Queer Pedagogy; Silenced Discourse; Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe; Swedish Curriculum; Upper Secondary School; Young Adult Literature; Ethnic Minorities; Coming Out Story;

    Sammanfattning : The Young Adult novel Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe portrays the coming out stories of two queer Mexican American boys who struggle with their ethnicity and sexuality, which leads to internal conflicts. The focus of the analysis in the essay is to investigate how the novel can be taught in Upper Secondary classrooms through queer pedagogy and anti-oppressive approaches focusing on silenced discourse.
