1. A Structural Analysis of the Fracture Sets in Gothenburg, Sweden: A Remote Sensing and Manual Lineament Approach
Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The fracture-valley landscape within the Gothenburg region was analysed based on LiDAR-derived hillshade images as well as several sources of orthomosaics. Using a manual lineament interpretation approach and complimented with an objective fractal analysis software (FROST), the objective of the study was to characterise the regional fracture sets as well as attempt to link the sets to the complex regional geological history. 2. Fractal and entropy analysis of traditional and modernist building facades in street-level view : the case of Sweden’s growing cities
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management (from 130101)Sammanfattning : This study presents a quantitative analysis of traditional and modernist building facades in urban environments, focusing on the assessment of their complexity and coherence. Fractal and entropy analysis techniques were employed to objectively evaluate the differences between the two architectural styles within the preference matrix framework. LÄS MER
3. Procedural Worlds : A proposition for a tool to assist in creation of landscapes byprocedural means in Unreal Engine 5
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/InformationskodningSammanfattning : This thesis explores the possibilities of creating landscapes through procedural means within the game engine Unreal Engine 5. The aim is to provide a flexible procedural landscape tool that doesn't limit the user and that is compatible with existing systems in the engine. LÄS MER

5. An empirical study on measuring the degree of life in cities
Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/SamhällsbyggnadSammanfattning : Our direct environment affects our lives directly. Christopher Alexander saw that we are able to feel or see if an object or structure is natural through the characteristics of them. He also saw that we generally feel better near these living, natural structures as it more closely resembles ourselves. LÄS MER
