  1. 1. IDENTIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTALLY RELEVANT BENTHIC FORAMINIFERA FROM THE SKAGERRAK FJORDS BY DEEP LEARNING IMAGE MODELING

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Institutionen för biologi och miljövetenskap

    Författare :Marko Plavetic; [2023-06-26]
    Nyckelord :benthic foraminifera; deep learning; environmental monitoring; YOLOv7;

    Sammanfattning : Over the several past decades, there has been increasing interest in using foraminifera as environmental indicators for coastal marine environments. As compared to macrofauna, which are currently used in environmental studies, foraminifera offer several distinct advantages as bioindicators, including short generation times, a high number of individuals per small sample volume, hard and durable tests with high preservation potential, and low cost of sample extraction. 2. 2. Automatic compilation and summarization of documented Russian equipment losses in Ukraine : A method development

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Försvarshögskolan

    Författare :Carl Zaff; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Russian Equipment loss; Russo-Ukrainian War; Method development; Machine learning; Tesseract OCR; Oryxspioenkop; OSINT; Ryssland; Materielförlust; Rysk-ukrainska kriget; Metodutveckling; Maskininlärning; Tesseract OCR; Oryxspioenkop; OSINT;

    Sammanfattning : Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on the 24th of February 2022 – most of the United Nations have, in one way or another, participated in the most significant war of many decades. The war is characterized by Russia’s atrocious war crimes, illegal annexations, terror, propaganda, and complete disrespect for international law. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Detection of local motion artifacts and image background in laser speckle contrast imaging

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för medicinsk teknik

    Författare :Johannes Nyhlén; Märta Sund; [2023]
    Nyckelord :laser speckle contrast imaging; lsci; multi exposure laser speckle contrast imaging; melsci; machine learning; deep learning; statistical analysis; detection; local motion artifacts; 1D; 2D; 3D;

    Sammanfattning : Laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) and its extension, multi-exposure laser speckle contrast imaging (MELSCI) are non-invasive techniques to monitor peripheral blood perfusion. One of the main drawbacks of LSCI and MELSCI in clinical use is that the techniques are sensitive to tissue movement. LÄS MER

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Anton Carlstedt; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Passwords are the most common and frequently used authentication mechanism in the world. However, despite years of research and active use in the world, passwords still have many shortcomings and drawbacks. One of the most prevalent challenges of passwords is the difficulty of creating ones that are strong and also easy to remember. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Region-based analysis of magnetic resonance brain images: integrating statistical analysis and visualization

    Master-uppsats,

    Författare :Yu-Ping Hsu; [2022-04-05]
    Nyckelord :Medical physics; Neuroimage; Brain segmentation; Statistical analysis; Visualization;

    Sammanfattning : Purpose: The purpose of the project was to develop a processing toolchain that takes MR brain images and their anatomical segmentations as input and produces image visualizations, data visualizations, and statistical analyses in a unified manner for the users who work with neuroimaging and quantitative brain anatomy, including pathological anatomy. A secondary aim was to package and release the software publicly as open source. LÄS MER
