    Sammanfattning : This thesis project is aimed to answer the questions: What could be done to design areas for making them flood resilient? How can sustainable urban design be adapted to provide flood resilience while transforming an area into a more livable space? Starting with these questions, the past of Hamburg and existing situation have been analyzed, a research has been done about the floods, climate change and how other cities develop their strategies to minimize effects of these issues. With a holistic way, information about the site in Hamburg has been gathered to find out the current problems like connection issues, lack of public realm, non-attractive river front and outdated flood defenses.     Sammanfattning : This thesis studies the feasibility of a cavity based X-ray free electron laser in a fourth generation storage ring. The cavity design allows for modulation of the electron beam over several passes through the undulator. Simulations based on the PETRA IV facility are done to create the photon flux spectrum of a light pulse produced by an undulator. LÄS MER
