    Sammanfattning : In this thesis I compare two anti-gay fatwas by the Muslim scholar Muhammad Saalih al-Munajjid with the book Homosexuality in Islam by Scott Siraj al-Haqq Kugle, who is a professor at Emory University.     Sammanfattning : This study has analyzed five different judgments from the colonial anti-sodomy law Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code using the frameworks of Foucauldian genealogical discourse, and Judith Butler’s heterosexual matrix.
