We chose to analyse articles from the last four and a half months during the 2019 season in comparison with the same period in 2021, when the Swedish government eased the restrictions and fans were welcomed back to watch the games. We have analyzed the differences between two football seasons, 2018 and 2019, with a quantitative content analysis on Sportbladet and Sportexpressen, which is the two biggest papers when it comes to sport.
