  1. 1. Do feed-in tariffs promote environmental efficiency among wind farms? : a two-stage LCA + DEA efficiency case study on 75 Danish wind farms

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Economics

    Författare :Gustav Berglöf; [2020]
    Nyckelord :DEA; efficiency; environmental efficiency; feed-in tariff; operational efficiency; renewable energy; subsidy; wind power;

    Sammanfattning : It is generally known that wind power has an offsetting effect on emissions by crowding out fossil dependent energy sources. What has not been studied to any further extent is the variability in environmental impacts caused by wind turbine erection and manufacturing. Also, it is not known how economic incentives could affect these impacts. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Development of a GIS-based multiprocessing modelling approach for assessing the wind and solar potential in Mongolia

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energi och klimatstudier, ECS

    Författare :Alexander Harrucksteiner; [2020]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Despite the vast wind and solar energy potential, Mongolia is still highly depended on coal-fired electricity generation. At the same time, the pressure on Governments is increased due to the urgency to fight climate change. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Biomethane via Woodroll® - Investigation of Revenues & Profitability Analysis

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemivetenskap (CHE)

    Författare :Robert Andersson Krohn; [2016]
    Nyckelord :Woodroll; biomethane; biomass gasification; feed-in tariff; revenues; risks; Woodroll; biometan; biomassaförgasning; inmatningstariff; intäkter; risker;

    Sammanfattning : Woodroll® is a gasification technology developed by Cortus that produces synthetic gas (syngas) from biomass. Syngas can be used in several different applications. One interesting option is to convert it further into biomethane, which can be used as automotive fuel or replace natural gas in gas grids. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Impact of Time-of-Delivery Schemes on Optimum Solar Hybrid Power Plants- A Techno-Economic Study

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Hansson Linus; [2016]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Analyses concerned with identifying optimal plant configurations of solar power plants can be expanded by implementing payment schemes where prices are unknown but daily occurring payment multipliers in the form of Time-of-Delivery (TOD) factors are known by enhancing the impact of financial conditions in optimal designs through the use of financial models. The hybridisation of solar technologies such as CSP with TES with photovoltaics (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) have also been shown to offer promising synergies in terms of economy and design.
