    Sammanfattning : This paper examines the effect of the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) on foreign direct investment outflows of European Union member states. A panel data set on FDI outflows for 33 countries ranging from the year 1995 to 2019 and the empirical methods of multiple linear regression, difference-in-differences, and triple difference are used to examine the effect.
