    Sammanfattning : This paper analyzes the evolution of narrative forms and the use of war metaphors in written press related to drug trafficking in the newspaper La Capital of the city of Rosario (Argentina), between 2011 and 2022. In mid-2013 there was a rise in crimes related to the world of drug trafficking, which in our opinion, favored a change in the way of narrating and the use of the linguistic resource of metaphors related to the field of war.
