1. Comprehensive Analysis of lncRNA and circRNA Mediated ceRNA network in Psoriasis
Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för biovetenskapSammanfattning : Evidence is accumulating that noncoding RNAs and circRNA are involved in psoriasis; however, the competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) mediated regulatory mechanisms in psoriasis are rarely reported. The research study aimed to comprehensively investigate the differences in the expression levels of circular RNA (circRNA), long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), microRNA (miRNA/miR), and mRNA in psoriasis. 2. Investigation of the gene expression landscape of human skin wounds
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildningSammanfattning : Wound healing is a complex physiological process. Effective wound healing enables the skin barrier function to be restored once the skin is injured. However, due to the complex nature of wounds, the mechanisms underlying tissue repair are still poorly understood. LÄS MER
3. Regulation of TGFß signalling by the long noncoding RNA TGFß2-AS1
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildningSammanfattning : Long noncoding RNAs have been shown to regulate many signalling pathways and their expression has been linked to the development of many cancers. Here we assess the involvement of the long noncoding RNA TGFß2-AS1 in the regulation of the TGFß signalling pathway, specifically its involvement in the TGFß induced process of EMT. LÄS MER
4. Differential and co-expression of long non-coding RNAs in abdominal aortic aneurysm
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildningSammanfattning : This project concerns an exploration of the presence and interactions of long non-coding RNA transcripts in an experimental atherosclerosis mouse model with relevance for human abdominal aortic aneurysm development. 187 long noncoding RNAs, two of them entirely novel, were found to be differentially expressed between angiotensin II treated (developing abdominal aortic aneurysms) and non-treated apolipoprotein E deficient mice (not developing aneurysms) harvested after the same period of time.
