1. Spectromorphological Reductions : Exploring and developing approaches for sound-based notation of live electronics
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Musik, medier och teaterSammanfattning : In this master’s thesis, a sound-based notation system is explored and developed in the composition and performance of a musical work for live electronics. My approach builds on existing systems for electroacoustic music analysis, most notably Dennis Smalley’s (1997) theory of spectromorphology and the symbolic language of Lasse Thoresen & Andreas Hedman (2007) based on Pierre Schaeffer’s typo-morphology, as well as Mattias Sköld’s (2023) adaptation of this system for composition and transcription (Sound Notation). 2. Understanding the differences between reverberation and delay on vocals in live music scenarios : A study on the perceptions and preferences of the live concert audience
Kandidat-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för ekonomi, teknik, konst och samhälleSammanfattning : Two common vocal processing techniques in pop- and rock music are the use of artificial reverberation or delay. The differences between these effects have been thoroughly studied in the studio environment (Case, 2007; Henriques & Rietveld, 2018; Ronen, 2015), but research is lacking in the live realm. LÄS MER
3. Evaluation of structurally controlled rockfall hazard for underground excavations in seismically active areas of the Kiirunavaara mine
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurserSammanfattning : Sublevel caving operations at great depths are subjected both to large stress concentrations that are redistributed as the mining front progresses and to mining-induced seismicity. This is the case for Kiirunavaara mine, Sweden’s largest underground mine. LÄS MER
4. Investigation of Influential Contexts on Mining-front Seismicity at Kiirunavaara Mine
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/GeoteknologiSammanfattning : Mining at great depths has become the reality for the mining industry in Sweden, that faces challenges in terms of increasing seismic events and sometimes intrinsically related rock mass failure. Kiirunavaara mine is owned by LKAB (located at north Sweden) and the company has been dealing with seismicity in a daily basis once the mine has been regarded as seismically active since 2007-2008 and presently has the largest seismic monitoring system in the world. 5.
