    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this work is to examine the teaching methods secondary and upper secondary teachers apply to teach grammar in the EFL classroom, as well as their perceptions about the benefits of having grammar knowledge and its benefits to students’ writing. Previous research reveals that grammar teaching is an integral part of language teaching; explicit and implicit methods along with deductive and inductive instruction are the main practices teachers use to transfer knowledge to their students.     Sammanfattning : It is well known within typological linguistics that the expression of motion is language-specific. In Swedish the manner of a motion is typically expressed in a verb while the path of motion is expressed in a satellite connected to the verb (S- languages), whereas, in French, typically the path of motion is expressed in the verb and the manner is omitted.     Sammanfattning : Corrective feedback has been widely discussed and both praised and rejected, in this review recent research on the topic is collected, presenting an overview of what kind of feedback is most beneficial to language learners and their grammatical accuracy. Initially, a brief general theoretical background is summarized, followed by a short passage about the debate initialized by John Truscott with his claim that corrective feedback is potentially harmful for language learners.
