    Sammanfattning : In this thesis the plausibility of applying methods and techniques for the removal of pressure-sensitive tapes (PSTs) in the delamination of pressure-sensitive adhesive laminations (PSA-laminations) is examined. The thesis also addresses if delamination is necessary and can be justified in regards to conservation theory, abiding to the concepts and notions of balance between material retention and material loss, reversibility, authenticity, and minimal intervention. Miming the toe-surface of gecko, engineered surfaces made of thousands of micro-pillars show promising adhesive properties.
