    Sammanfattning : I den här masteruppsatsen undersöktes geokemin i kalkskalen av bottenlevande foraminiferer från Anholt (Kattegat), Ristinge (Bälthavet) och Obrzynowo (Egentliga Östersjön), för att rekonstruera de hydrografiska förhållanden i Östersjön och paleomiljön under den senaste interglacialen (130 - 115 ka BP). De variabler som analyserades innefattade Mg/Ca, Ba/Ca och Mn/Ca samt stabila syre- och kolisotoper (δ18O och δ13C) i kombination med data från tidigare studier och modern hydrografi. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Major and trace element data taken from plagioclase crystals from anorthosites and related rock units in the Hakefjorden Complex located off the west coast of Sweden were investigated for the purposes of constraining magma chamber processes and the source of the magma. Although the anorthosite units were completely homogenous in regards to its chemistry, the plagioclase in the associated norite and ilmenite-leuconorite units showed substantial variation. LÄS MER
