  1. 1. Hade hon sett OK ut hade hon fått våldta mig hårt! - Om framställningen av kvinnliga sexualförbrytare och deras brott på forumet Flashback

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / / Institutionen för sociologi och arbetsvetenskap

    Författare :Elsa Cedergren; [2024-03-04]
    Nyckelord :female; sexcrime; offender; flashback; discourse analysis;

    Sammanfattning : This study aims to widen the known information about how female sexual offenders are depicted in online-forums, specifically the Swedish online-forum Flashback. The research questions that guided this study were as follows; 1) How female sexual offenders are depicted on Flashback as well as 2) How female sexual offenders’ crimes are constructed on Flashback. 2. 2. ML implementation for analyzing and estimating product prices

    Kandidat-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för matematik och datavetenskap (from 2013)

    Författare :Abel Getachew Kenea; Gabriel Fagerslett; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Machine Learning; ML; Regression; Deep Learning; Artificial Neural Network; ANN; TensorFlow; ScikitLearn; CUDA; cuDNN; Estimation; Prediction; AI; Artificial Intelligence; Price Tracking; Price Logging; Price Estimation; Supervised Learning; Random Forest; Decision Trees; Batch Learning; Hyperparameter Tuning; Linear Regression; Multiple Linear Regression; Maskininlärning; Djup lärning; Artificiellt Neuralt Nätverk; Regression; TensorFlow; SciktLearn; ML; ANN; Estimation; Uppskattning; CUDA; cuDNN; AI; Artificiell Intelligens; pris loggning; pris estimation; prisspårning; Batchinlärning; Hyperparameterjustering; Linjär Regression; Multipel Linjär Regression; Supervised Learning; Random Forest; Decision Trees;

    Sammanfattning : Efficient price management is crucial for companies with many different products to keep track of, leading to the common practice of price logging. Today, these prices are often adjusted manually, but setting prices manually can be labor-intensive and prone to human error. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Misalignment effects on the physics performance of the inner tracker upgrade at the ALICE experiment

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Partikel- och kärnfysik

    Författare :Jesper Karlsson Gumprecht; [2024]
    Nyckelord :ALICE; ITS; ITS2; ITS3; O2; O2Physics; Distortion; Misalignment; Alignment; Realignment; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the physics performance of an approved inner tracker upgrade of the ALICE experiment involving a novel and ultra-thin silicon detector with a cylindrical geometry. During the thesis work, a method was developed in simulations to induce distortions to the detector’s geometry, and the resulting loss in physics performance was evaluated. LÄS MER

  4. 4. A Comparative Analysis of the Ingestion and Storage Performance of Log Aggregation Solutions: Elastic Stack & SigNoz

    Kandidat-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Akademin för innovation, design och teknik

    Författare :Robert Duras; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Elastic Stack; ELK; SigNoz; Beats; Logstash; Elasticsearch; Kibana; OpenTelemetry; ClickHouse; Log; Logging; Log Data; Log Aggregation; Performance; Ingestion; Storage;

    Sammanfattning : As infrastructures and software grow in complexity the need to keep track of things becomes important. It is the job of log aggregation solutions to condense log data into a form that is easier to search, visualize, and analyze. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Exploring the Impact of Genre on Syntactic and Lexical Complexity in L2 Written English

    M1-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Avdelningen för humaniora

    Författare :Caitlyn Taylor; [2024]
    Nyckelord :SLA; EFL; lexical complexity; syntactic complexity;

    Sammanfattning : The present study investigates the effect of genre on lexical and syntactic complexity. The corpus used for this study is made up of argumentative and narrative texts from the TRAWL (Tracking Written Learner Language) online corpus. The study analyses texts written by 22 Norwegian EFL learners, 10 in year 8 and 12 in year 9. LÄS MER
