    Författare :Ecenur Bacaksizlar; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Intergenerational Connections; Generational Gap; Digital Storytelling; Designing for Cultures; Interaction Design; Ageism;

    Sammanfattning : Over the last decades, there has been a decline in the recognition and prevalence of communication and interaction between people of different age groups. This change can be perceived as a loss of value in societies on several different levels while this societal segregation continues to create larger divisions within societies. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Work on track! : A train interior design concept to meet contemporary work trends and needs

    Master-uppsats, Konstfack/Industridesign

    Författare :Alicia M Abaitua Knight; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Sustainability; Long-distance train travel; Passenger experience; Future of rail; Co-working space; Travelling; Speculative design; Switch from aviation to rail; Activity-based train;

    Sammanfattning : In a future vision for rail travel, trains will be designed as an activity-based whole space, with different areas for various activities, such as relaxing, socialising or family bonding. My degree project, in collaboration with SJ, proposes a concept carriage dedicated to work, analogous to spending a day at a mobile coworking space. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Scania recently introduced a new fuel tank design. This new design arose a need for extra help when mounting the tank in production, which was solved with two little hooks on each tank. These hooks are today known as the current third hand solution. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Towards a feedback system for upper body bodyweight exercises using multiple inertial measurement units : A user-centred approach

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystem

    Författare :Panagiota Papadopoulou; [2023]
    Nyckelord :IMU sensors; bodyweight training; machine learning; real-time feedback; push-ups; tricep dips; plank;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the feasibility of developing an affordable and easy-to-use feed- back system that leverages information from multiple inertial measurement units (IMUs) to identify mistakes during upper body bodyweight training and provide real-time feedback to the user. To develop the system, a human-centered approach was used, which involved conducting semi-structured interviews with movement ex- perts and a workshop with targeted end-users to understand their needs.
