Vill ”man” ha ett jämställt samhälle i Japan?

Sammanfattning: Japan have for a long time tried to make the country more equal and the prime minister of Japan Shinzo Abe said year 2014 that “now it is the women’s time to shine in Japan”. Womenomics was created with gender equality goals to be reach until 2020 but so far, the equality changes in Japan has been slow. Japan rank low in the world when it comes to gender equality while other countries are catching up in the rank. Here, using a feminist approach I want to look closer if the ones that sit on political power in Japan, read men, truly wants to create a more equal society. I will do this by investigate laws that are meant to make more women be able to work in Japan and by this create a more equal society.
