”Jag skulle vilja se en studie på vad den där valken gör för skillnad egentligen” : En kulturanalytisk studie i kroppsuppfattning och kroppsnormer

Sammanfattning: This essay researches the impact societys ideal pictures of the female body actually make on individuals. In my studies, five female identified informants were interviewed about how they perceive and feel about their bodies. It also discusses different strategies to control the body in order to acheive the ideal body. Two of the informants that contributed to this essay are selfappointed body positive activists and fight in the anti-movement against the societal preassure and expectations of the female body. The purpose of this essay is to discuss and enlight the hegemony regarding bodily expressions, and also its opposition.
