Miljöledningssytem : Som att få körkort på endast teoriprovet?

Sammanfattning: There is extensive research about environmental management system present today. Mainly focused on the private sector and research about how environmental management system within the public sector has not been conducted in the same extent. To contribute with increased knowledge in this area we have conducted a case study about Stockholm county and its work with environmental management system. The study shows amongst other things that environmental management system could lead to positive effect on the environmental work. Though it does not automatically lead to a well preformed environmental work, the content of the environmental management system is what seems to most important.
