Inkludering av ensamkommande barn i Sverige. : En analys av muntliga framställningar av personal på HVB.

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för socialt arbete (SA)

Sammanfattning: The aim of our study is to analyze oral requests by HVB staff of their work to integrate (include) unaccompanied children into the community. The study is based on a qualitative approach with detailed descriptions of eight interviews with HVB staff in the south of Sweden. They were selected by personal contacts where one contact led to another. We have assumed different themes to analyze empirical data. These themes were, barriers to social integration (inclusion) facilities with social integration (inclusion) and the staff's views on the material based on precious research and theories regarding symbolic interactionism, socialconstructionism and social integration (inclusion)/exclusion. The result shows the barriers the staff see in their work with social integration (inclusion) of the unaccompanied children, which is exclusion, sorrow, loneliness and rasism. It also shows the opportunities (facilities?) with the work, such as good relationships and communication between the youth (unaccompanied children) and the staff. Finally, how the staff works to achieve a social integration (inclusion) in society, a greater part of which occurs in different social arenas like schools and leisure-time activities.
