Trafik i detaljplanen

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet

Sammanfattning: In today’s modern city planning are the so-called detailed development plans used for deciding how a specific area is supposed to be used and for what purpose. A problem which is occurring from time to time, is that some detailed development plans are not coming up as it was thought they would. Often it is seen that areas have more dwelling, parking space and in some cases big super markets than was planned. This can generate a higher traffic flow from what previously was thought, which can affect the road systems and traffic solutions negatively. It is furthermore possible that the traffic solutions don’t make the cut with the increased traffic in future scenarios. In order to understand the underlying factors about how Gustavslunds detailed development plans didn’t became as it was planned for, interviews will be held. The interviews will be held with people who was involved in Gustavslunds detail planning process. The interviews will have its focus laying on gathering information about detailed development plans, traffic analysis and traffic forecasts. This in combination with field visits, analysis of the detailed development plans in possession and the real outcome will hopefully reveal some of the underlying factors. The theoretical traffic flows which were the foundation of Gustavslund are only bypassed in one of the cases when compared to traffic flows from 2018. This indicates that the traffic flows weren’t undersized, on the other hand this could mean that the traffic solutions can’t handle the flow of traffic during the max hours. Affecting factors could be the big grocery store or the school in the northern part of Gustavslund. Furthermore, it wasn’t planned for a bus line from the beginning.
