Sammanfattning:

This paper covers schoolteacher´s experiences of IT development in Upper Secondary School concerning the school subject Swedish. The aim is to investigate how curriculums and teacher´s teaching have changed with the introduction of IT development in the school´s activities, in order to obtain a score of todays didactics in the classroom. To reach this goal I have asked three questions: With the introduction of IT development in schools, what changes have occurred in the curriculum for the Upper Secondary School of 1994, 2011 and 1970? How do the schoolteacher´s experiences in Upper Secondary School in school subject Swedish that IT development has affected and changed their classroom didacties? What is the schoolteacher´s experiences in Upper Secondary School in school subject Swedish that they want to change in the work with IT tools? What is the schoolteacher´s experiences in Upper Secondary School in school subject Swedish in having received support and education for the introduction of IT tools in their school?

To get answers to these questions, the work is based on curriculum theory and uses two methods; curriculum analysis and interviews. These methods make the investigation qualitative as well as subjective, since it is based on teacher´s experiences.

The conclusions revolve around two main factors. One main factor relates to generation, education and preference issues, which basically come down to poor and non functional resources for the school´s needs, lack of time and lack of teacher competence as well as the student´s lack of computer knowledge. The second main factor promotes reasons as to why change regarding IT development in School operations does not lasts. It is obvious that there are issues with management, politics as well as responsibilities on part of the Sales companies.
