Sammanfattning: The purpose of this study is to develop a design proposal for people with burnout diseases to a garden room in the garden at GreveGarden. The design proposal is based on the theory about the triangle of supporting environments and the eight garden room characters. This study has been carried out with literary studies, concept sketches, visits and interviews with the project leader at GreveGarden. With support of the designing tool, QET - Quality Evaluation Tool, the theory about the triangle of supporting environments and the eight garden room characters have been included in the design proposal. A good designed healing garden for people suffering from burnout diseases should include all steps from the theory about the triangle of supporting environments, if the garden room should be able to use for as many people as possible it is good if several of the eight garden room characters can be included in the design of the garden room. The conclusion of this study is that a garden room for people with burnout diseases where calm, shelter and security can be experienced and stimulation of senses is a place where probably many people can find satisfaction. Garden rooms with different purposes mean that depending on where in the rehabilitation process people are, they can find places that suit them and continue to help them forward in the rehabilitation. At the beginning of the rehabilitation the garden room should not contain too much impression because it should be able to increase more impressions on the way forward in the rehabilitation. With use of a healing garden people with burnout diseases can re-learn how to manage requirements and in this way get a working life again in the contemporary society.
