Sammanfattning: This report is dealing with row house fires and the variables that causes these fires. Statistics show that fires in row houses tend to have a greater risk of killing people and to spread across their homes compared to other kinds of residents. Several variables are examined through statistic analysis and case studies to get a picture of the most common causes of fires in row houses and what could be the underlying causes of the fires. The results show that technical malfunctions, forgotten cigarettes and stoves cause a great deal of the dangerous fires especially when no fire detector is present. Studies of social factors are presented, but more research is needed to assure how they affect row house fires.
