Sammanfattning: The focus of this report is flexible work forms defined as; broad and variating work, with a high degree off autonomy, participation, responsibility and freedom to organize the work process, and the opportunity to obtain personal and professional development. The aim of the report is to obtain a greater understanding of what impact flexible work forms has on the well being of the individual particularly concerning stress and the relationship between work and private life. The empirical investigation of this report is of a qualitative nature and the method used is in-depth interviews with five people who all have flexible work according to the definition above. There is no one-sided conclusion to the results of the interviews, but the analysis of the empire according to theory on the area brings an interesting understanding to the relationship between flexible work forms and the well-being of the individual. The empire and theory gives the impression that the flexible work forms contains elements that are potentially stressing and damaging according to the possibility of obtaining a reasonable balance between work life and private life. The effect on the individual seems to be the results of many factors both concerning the psychosocial work environment and elements from their private life.
