Investigation of blockage correction methods forfull-scale wind tunnel testing of trucks

Sammanfattning: In this work wall interference effects, experienced during full scale wind tunnel testing of trucks, are investigatedthrough simulations. Three different truck models are used, and a number of blockage correction methods areapplied on drag results from simulations in a wind tunnel environment. These are compared with open roadreference simulations. The results indicate that the flow fields around the trucks need to be fairly similar, if thesame correction method is to be used.
