Aktiveringsprojekt och makt - En studie kring hur deltagare i aktiveringsprojekt beskrivs i slutrapporter

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Socialhögskolan

Sammanfattning: The aim of this study was to examine how participants were described in the final report of four different projects with the aim to help individuals go from financial aid to supporting themselves. These people received financial aid of some form, and this aid was dependent on their participation in the projects. The reports were processed and analyzed with the help of qualitative content analysis and Foucalts theories concering power. The theories I have used in this study are disciplinary power, pastoral prower and governmentality. The study shows that participants of these projects are described in terms such as as passive and powerless, with a lack of a social network. This could cause the participants to develop feelings of shame, which in turn could compromise their mental wellbeing.
