Myror i brallan. -Hur gör lärare? : En enkätstudie bland verksamma lärare inom Stockholms län

Sammanfattning: Syftet är att undersöka hur lärare arbetar för att skapa en fungerande klassrumsmiljö för elever med koncentrationssvårigheter som går i normalstor klass, samt att undersöka hur skolor organiserar stödet för dessa elever. Dessutom vill vi undersöka vad lärare anser om inkluderande undervisning av elever med koncentrationssvårigheter i normalstor klass. Syftet är även att undersöka hur lärare värderar sina förmågor att kunskapsmässigt kunna stimulera dessa elever. Undersökningen är baserad på en enkätstudie som har genomförts i två kommuner inom Stockholms län. Av de 100 enkäter som skickades ut till lärare fick vi 63 respondenter. Lärarna som deltog i enkätstudien besitter kunskaper om hur de bör undervisa elever med koncentrationssvårigheter, men de ser helst att dessa elever går i liten grupp. Detta kan vi koppla till det stöd och resurser som finns att tillgå på skolorna. Det fanns dock lärare som var nöjda med stödet men ändå inte ansåg att dessa elever bör undervisas i normalstorklass. The objective is to examine how teachers work to create a functioning class room environment for students with attention deficit disorders in a normal sized class, as well as to investigate how the schools organise the support for those students. We also want to look into how teachers feel about including students with attention deficit disorders when teaching a normal sized class, and how the teachers rate their knowledge and abilities to stimulate students with attention deficit disorders. The study is based on a survey that has been given in two communities south of Stockholm. Of the 100 surveys that were sent out to teachers, 63 were answered. The teachers that partook in the survey feel they have the know-how to teach students with attention deficit disorders, but prefer to have these students in a smaller group. We can see a clear connection between this and the support and resources available at the schools. There were however teachers that were happy with the support but still felt that these students should not be taught in a normal sized class.
