Ett normalt liv? -En netografisk studie om att leva med personlig assistans

Sammanfattning: The aim of this study was to analyze how people with disabilities describe their life with personal assistance. My theoretical approach in this study has been power in a relational context and also social capital. The material in this study came from two internet based forums, where I´ve used sixteen posts published between 2010 and 2013. In order to analyze these posts, I have chosen to use a netographic survey method. For the implementation of the method I started off with the making of a text analysis where I created an analysis framework. The analysis framework was used to structure and to find patterns in my material. The result in this study has shown that people with disabilities must among other things get used to be a service user, and also get used to the process of having personal assistance. The process includes letting other people, assistants and authorities in their lives. These processes can lead to both possibilities and limitations.
