En stor del av något för stunden litet och osäkert : En studie om den blivande medarbetarens möte med entreprenören bakom det nystartade företaget

Sammanfattning: This bachelor thesis explores the meeting between the entrepreneur and the first employee entering the entrepreneurs newly started business. It takes on the employee perspective with the purpose to understand what driving forces affect the employee in his or hers decision to start working with the entrepreneur. Semi structured interviews with in total seven different respondents with experience from this kind of meeting have been done. The respondents were in different stages in life and came from different companies in different industries. The thing that they had in common were the fact that they all relatively recently had started working with an entrepreneur in a newly started business. Questions were asked about what motivated them to leave a more secure workplace and instead start to work in a newly started, pretty insecure business. The main factors identified were the possibility to be part of and build something from scratch, the freedom that comes with that type of role compared to a bigger more structured company and the fact that respondents, in their decision, felt the support from their closest surrounding.
