Sammanfattning: Internet filtering occurs in a varying extent throughout the world and one of the mostpervasive exertion takes place in China. Internet filtering is the use of technological strategiesto limit the access and distribution of internet content. Many of the world's largest websitesare not accessible inside China, and unwanted content is filtered in search results. Thissignificantly affects the availability of the Internet for netizens in the country. However, thereare no extensive research regarding whether internet filtering has an impact on theeffectiveness of operating in international trade. Corporate technical environment affects howcollaboration with other companies can occur and the potential of a system integration affectswhat the relationship is able to generate. Based on this background, a study was initiated withthe aim of developing an understanding of how interactions between companies can beaffected in an environment where internet content is being filtered to a greater extent. Thisintention led to the following question: “What is the impact of internet filtering on B2Bcollaboration between swedish and chinese companies?” To answer the question,semistructured interviews were conducted with informants from swedish companies that areassociated with chinese companies in China. The findings showed that internet filtering hasan impact on several aspects in collaborating B2B relations. Work can be delayed becausesystems and features can not be reached and communication can be obstructed due to badvideo quality and such. The experience of slow internet connection slow internet connectioncan be an effect of internet filtering. China's technical infrastructure is described as a barrierto increased cooperation and integration in B2B relations. Circumvention tools to get aroundinternet filtering are described as necessary for collaboration to work.
